Alison's Half Marathon

for AKPA

Alison Ward from Werrington in Peterborough ran the Great Eastern half marathon on 11 October 2009 and raised a brilliant £243 for AKPA.

Alison's father, David Hillyard died from Polycystic kidney disease in 1999. Her twin brother Andrew also suffers from this inherited disease. Andrew recently received a transplant at Addenbrooke's hospital, his new kidney was donated by their brother James who is fortunate in not carrying the dreadful gene.

All the family support AKPA and greatly appreciate the work they do.
